
To make gravy for your chicken fried steak, use the grease from the meat after you have cooked all the steaks. Once the steaks are done and removed, reduce the heat to low and add your left over flour from your steak dredge plus 1/2 c more. Stir constantly to dissolve the flour where there are not any lumps. once stirred together add 2 c of milk and turn your heat up between med. & low, stir this constantly till thick to prevent lumps. you can add more milk or less to get your desired creaminess.


This is an excellent gravy. It goes well with Jen’s chicken fried steak and some of her other creations.
