He Loves Us No Matter What

He loves me anyway. It doesn’t matter what I do in my life, He will love me and forgive me for anything that I decide to do apart from Him and His plan for my life.

EVERYONE has a chance for grace and forgiveness from the Father. Till our very last breathe we can call to Him and He will save you. Murderers, thieves, the worst of the worst can be saved at anytime, all is needed is to ask and call His name.

Being human how can we possibly imagine the ones that we would never give the time of day to or that we fear ourselves could ever be on a level playing ground for grace as we who try to do the right thing everyday. Questions and arguments come often from people who can not love as Christ did and can not imagine forgiving the murderers much less living eternity with them in heaven. The question is not ours because we are commanded to love one another as Christ loved us and forgive 70 times 7 times no matter what the person did. All human beings belong to God and whether each one has chosen to allow the devil to control their life or to live in Christ, really doesn’t matter to God as long as we end up with him in the end. All of God’s beings can be redeemed and the devil removed from them because God is more powerful and the enemy has no ground to stand on that God does not own or control. Free will is the part that hangs people up most, it’s not that God allowed things to happen but that WE chose to follow the wrong path. This world stopped being an Eden when humans fell in to the slavery of the knowledge of good and evil. When we made the choice to choose good or evil for ourselves, we put humans in the line of fire for the enemy to take his best shots at us and God can only be there to help us back up again, but can’t fix things unless we come to him first, picking GOOD over evil.

We were the ones that crucified Jesus on that fateful day and we were the ones who scoffed at Him; BUT, HE was the one who loved us knowing how stupid and bad we were being at the time. He gave up His life because He knew that we couldn’t survive alone and without His sacrifice. His sacrifice was the only thing that could have happened to save us from ourselves.

So, forgiveness is key and love for one another is most important, we do not have any choice in that matter or we end up on the wrong side of the spiritual war.

Your Invited to a Party!

Your Invited to a party!

Where: Anywhere you choose

When: Any day you choose

What Time: Now, if you choose

Instruction to follow:

There’s going to be a party in your honor. Are you ready?

A party of all time for you when everything that you’ve done, thought and not done will be forgiven and forgotten forever; there will be no room for anything but celebration. A celebration full of music, the best food, the best drink, gifts and blessings poured on you as if you’ve won the lottery and you just might think that you had.

There will be friends and family there to greet you new and old. No more loneliness and despair, you will find nothing but joy and blessings.  People find themselves in places that seem nonreturnable, places that leave you feeling unloved and forgotten because of choices you’ve made or maybe circumstances that you didn’t control but did not back away from before they carried you away.  There is no place that God can’t get to and no place that Jesus hasn’t been.  Jesus was only on earth about 35 years and was free from sin, but the last two or so minutes that he was on the cross he experienced a lifetime of sin and fell out of grace; just as we think that we do every day of our lives.  Then, when he died he was freed from all that sin and took our sins with him so that we could not be condemned anymore for what we do and say. Jesus was our answer and He is our answer to every question that we have.  God is crazy about you and he wants to throw you a party for when you decide to come back “home” to Him.

Jesus knew this guy who had some lost sheep and the guy left all the sheep that were gathered in his field to go looking for the only one that wandered off.  The sheep like minded in the field would take care of each other till he returned, but he knew that the one alone would fall prey to things that would cause nothing but trouble for the one sheep. Bringing the sheep back to the flock kept everyone safe and on the right track to a better life.  Jesus is out there right now looking for you and wants you to join the flock so that you too can be with like minded people who love Him and want nothing more than to live eternity with Him.

Jesus also knew this guy who had two sons and one of the sons got board at home and wanted to go out and see the world.  He was to receive an inheritance and he asked for it early. Sidebar, in those days inheritances were something received before people died more often than not. So the father gave both his sons each their part and sent the restless one on his way.  Years later the home body son had stayed near home taking care of what his father had given him, made it to last; while the restless son went on his way being restless. Getting into all kind of trouble, some time in jail, partying, boozing, flirting around girls he shouldn’t and wasn’t married to, spent every dime he had been given. Leaving only one thing to do, go crawling back to dad with his tail between his legs and ask for help. Boy, was this young man surprised when he got home, and his brother too for that matter.  His dad saw him coming and the party was ON!, the best of everything cooked and prepared, gifts for his son because he had returned home.  The father had loved his son so much that it didn’t matter at all what the son had been through or what mistakes he had made, he came home and that was all that mattered.

I know some people that have strayed, left the paths set before them and regretted ever straying.  But, you know what’s going to happen when they find their way back home to the family they had all along but turned away from, they will be met with open arms and then asked what took them soo long and then a party to celebrate.

So there is a party in you honor. Are you going to show up or brush it off as another inconvenience, or shy away from it for shame reasons?

It really doesn’t matter what you think will or might happen because your probably going to be wrong and you’ll wish you’d come a long time ago and brought a party hat.

We love you and God is waiting to here from you. You don’t even need a phone, just say I love you God and I miss you. He will start the music.

Glorifying the Cross

Glorifying the cross, what does that mean?  What is the meaning of glorifying something that was created by fallen man to be meant as a sign of shame and torture?

This symbol of shame and torture was changed on the afternoon that God used it as the one thing that would un-separate us from Him forever.  Up to this point the world had been made with the idea that God was someone who could not be approached by just anyone.  Sinners, fallen people of earth, unworthy to eat from the table of life were unable speak to God at all on their own.  The Levites, a tribe of the Israelites that were led out of Egypt by Moses were made to be the Holy ones, and their main chore of life was to do all things religious and spiritual.  Temples were built with levels of rooms that only certain holy ones could enter, then there was the Holy of Holy’s,  the last room of the temple that very very few who were purest of heart could enter or be put to death if they tried.  A story I heard once was that a rope was tied to the ankle of the one who went in so that in case he wasn’t a truly righteous man in God’s eyes and died from His presence, then he could be pulled out by the ones who definitely could not enter. True or not but would make a lot of sense, it would get awfully stinky.

Either way, this plan wasn’t faring too well with the people of Israel who really could not do anything but complain about the gifts God was giving them literally from heaven(Exodus 16:4) and beyond, so He warned them that He was sending someone else to save them from themselves, not just from the Egyptians.

So when that day finally came that God sent His only son(John 3:16), guess who didn’t and a group of them still to this day can’t believe in their One Saving Grace, the Israelites.  The very blood line of people whom which Jesus came were looking for a “king”, royalty type person to sit on thrones and rule over the people.  The very thought that God’s son would be a mere carpenter and a true King of kings and a friend to everyone, not a ruler to enforce the law of Abraham, was not something that they could and can still accept.

I and a bunch of people now and even then are glad Jesus is who He is, because in the Israelite/Moses days I was a gentile and we were like the scum of the earth.  The slaves, the lowest of the low and not worth the time of day by the Jewish community.  That could be something that may have caused the unbelief because we weren’t segregated anymore.  The sadness that for always there has been segregation and people just can’t get over that and love all, but that’s a whole big story all on it’s own.

Now, the cross had been around a while when Caesar was using it to make examples of thieves, murderers, capital punishment Roman style.  The crazy thing about this is that Pontius Pilate didn’t want to kill Jesus, he knew that Jesus had not done anything wrong.  The head honchos at the temple wanted him gone because he was doing something that they could never do and help people less than themselves, love people more than themselves, and fill the “pews”.  Thousands of people would come here Jesus speak, but no one wanted to go hear a bunch of old wind bags commanding laws that no one could uphold.

Jesus was hung on a cross meant for a thief, the thief’s sign replaced above his head was replaced with the one that said King of the Jews because Pontius called Him that.  He had to carry the cross bar all the way from Pontius’ place to Calvary, which was not a short trek at all.  Then, when he got there he was stripped of his clothes, nailed to the cross and then just for kicks one of the soldiers stabbed His side just to show he was a tough guy.  Hanging there for hours, His Mother watching in horror, all the hateful people around watching and mocking, and yet He still loved us.  He knew that this was his destiny for His Father,  the one thing He had to do to make things right again.  Jesus had never sinned, He had not done anything with His time on earth but Love us and care for us and He was put to death in such a way that can break a heart open to be able to receive the message it brought.

The very second that Jesus passed on to heaven, the sky opened and went dark, the temple had this big heavy curtain around the Holy of Holy room and God ripped that puppy right in two from the TOP to the bottom.  The message was THAT’S IT!, wake up people, I AM and I’m HERE!

ALL God’s people were set FREE, get it, FREE!  No more Holy of Holys, no more needing a mediator to talk to God. Free of shame, forgiven of all sin. Everyone gets to heaven, rich, poor, all races, all colors; the only stipulation is through Christ alone.  Acknowledge Him, praise Him, follow His teachings, Love as He would.  Christ is your only toll to pay on this highway to heaven.

Now the Cross was glorified from that historic day on Calvary, all shame and torture removed from the symbol, so lets set forth each day to glory in the cross and everything that Christ made it stand for and the unexpected peace that it brings.

The joy of a song

The joy of a song is something almost indescribable, the heart can find something about music that our minds cant understand sometimes.  The joy of a song can lift us up in anytime of life when nothing else can, our saddest moments can be turned around or eased by a positive tune placed in our ear just at the right time by our Father in heaven.  Our happiest times can be made even better and we can even find ourselves singing along when we’re happy.  Good songs and bad ones hold memories like a scrapbook, like a time machine, a song can transport us anywhere in time that we were when we remember hearing a certain song, good or bad.

My favorites include Big band, Christian Rock, Christian contemporary, Elvis(he stands alone), anything pre-1974(which is only funny because that’s when I was born).  The most important to me is if I can sing along, the best songs in my collection are the ones that i can sing with and get my feet tapping.  I work in a place where i’m alone a lot and have all the freedom in the world to sing and dance while i do my work, but don’t tell my bosses because then they might sell the video surveillance footage to funniest home videos or drop me onto YouTube for a laugh.

A song can send you soaring like a bird, high where only our Father in heaven can go with us.  I love singing his praise and singing it loud and meeting him where ever the song takes me.  I have not yet been baptized in the Holy Spirit but I know that when I sing just the right song that the Holy Spirit comes to me and gives me the voice to reach the heavens so that the Father and Jesus hear every word of my love for them.

The bible is full of music, the whole book of Psalms is a song.  David wrote these with great praises for God, the man after Gods own heart couldn’t keep in what God was doing and saying to him.  David rejoiced in the Lord by writing all his songs for the world to read and sing.  Example: Psalm 68:4 and Psalm 150:1-6

Always fill your world with good positive music, music that lifts up and not brings down.  Too many songs out there are depressing and harmful, leading us to stinky thinking, bad attitudes, wrong ideas of life.  God created good music and the Angels are singing all the time for our Father and want you to sing with them, only if the song doesn’t make you smile in your heart, they don’t know the words and wont sing with you, only guard you and help you find a more clear station.

Love life and keep singing as you go..

We Only Need One

In Christ alone, the only one, the very light of the world that causes all darkness to burst into light.  What is it that the world thinks they need that can do any of this?

Money, people, things, ones self.. all these are nothing and will be nothing unless Christ is aloud by our free will to control and dominate every aspect of our life.

We own nothing, we have nothing, we are nothing.  everything on this earth is Gods and Christs, we are only here to take care of what is here and we only get more to take care if we prove ourselves to him that we are worthy and trusted to lead life’s charge of protecting and distributing what is Gods.  We are nothing without God, he made you and he can take you.  The mothers’ saying that “I brought you into this world, I can take you out!” when mom is angry, where do you think she got that.  God puts all of us here and can control who stays and goes(without anger involved), so we are nothing that He hasn’t had a hand in and will be nothing worth being unless we put His hand in it.

Jesus hung on that Cross for a reason and that was to save our sorry butts from the fiery hell that the enemy(devil) was and is plaguing the world with.  The moment that “snake” slithered into the garden in the beginning, the enemy has latched onto us because he is confident that he will sway the free will God gave us in his favor and keep us from doing Gods will freely.

Christ rose from the tomb on that third day so that He could live with each and every one of us daily and never have to leave our side.  When He was in flesh, he loved greatly and served with healing, prayer and love.  Wishing so that he didn’t have to leave any child that he met, but knew that he had great things to do before the day that was coming when Heaven’s grace and mercy won over sin. His spirit couldn’t wait for the day that he could not be in the flesh, holy and away from fleshly feelings and muck so to always be with us no matter where or when.

In Christ alone we are everything we can dream of being. Everything that God dreams of us being.  In Christ alone all grace and mercy falls freely like rain and we are not condemned any longer for where we have been or what we have done.  All that’s needed is to give freely our hearts to Christ, God and the Holy Spirit and try our best.

He will always love us no matter what, and we are always welcome in the Kingdom in heaven and on earth.  His arms stretched on that cross was one gigantic hug to all of us that says, “Come and Live in Me, for I am the Light of the World and All that is in it.”

I was listening to the radio the other day and someone brought up that sunflowers follow the path of the sun which is called heliotropism and related it to following Christ.  I thought, wow, that’s a blog for me.

When I started to research, to know what exactly heliotropism was, I found out that this was actually a myth about sunflowers following the sun, but all wasn’t lost, It’s still going to be a good topic and totally metaphoric in a Christ way.

Heliotropism is defined as a seasonal motion of plants to follow the path of the sun, discovered in ancient Greece.  Some plants move their blooms to the sun and some plants move their leaves.  A lot of science has gone into studying this process and why they do this. Although that is a blog all on its own and there are many out there if you’d like to read more, I’d like to get to the purpose of my blog and what heliotropism means to us as followers of our own Son.

Sunflowers do have some heliotropic qualities but it only happens before the plant develops it’s blooms.  After, the sunflower blooms it turns and faces East and can possibly be a living compass for anyone who’s lost.

Hmmm, some of that seems awfully familiar, doesn’t it?  If it doesn’t than you may only be in a place where your still looking and asking questions. We can get you to thinking with this one at least.

Like the sunflower we are planted(born) and sprout into small pieces of a big miracle.  The sunflower is growing, God planted the seed and it looks and searches for the true light(the sun) so that it knows which way is up(Isaiah 60:1).  It finds the light and follows it till it has matured enough to be set free and bloom with all the beauty that the sun has given it to show its miracle of life. It gives to others with its seeds to eat and feeds the needy with everything that it can spare of whats left over for cattle feed and/or fertilizer for new crops.

We find our selves mimicking this pattern almost exactly when we follow Gods plan to His letter.  We are born and we search and seek (Psalm 43:3) the true light which we find only in Christ Jesus. When we find that the only way to the true path of what God has planned for us, we sprout and find that the true light is feeding us direction in our lives, we grow, we learn, we feed on the bread of life. Then, one day when we get it, the light bulb comes on to what its all about, we are set completely free to bloom and spread the good news of what we have learned in the journey.  We see the needs of others before our own and we give what we have and more to “fertilize” others with the seeds we are implanted with by Christ to plant and feed to others so that they can one day get it and blossom into a people version of SON-flowers(John 3:21).

After all the work is done to create a beautiful bloom then the peace of knowing which way we go is set.  We focus on our true East and look only to Christ for our direction and to be our living compass of life(John 8:12).

All plants lean to the light in some degree, and they know what is good and grow to what is true.  If you ever see a plant leaning toward a window, turn it around and see the next time you look that it did not start leaning back to the window.

We are the same. We can lean and grow to the true light of Christ, but this fallen world that we live in can turn us away from our true east before we realize where we are.  The good news is that we only have to keep the light in our hearts always, then no matter which direction this world turns us (Proverbs 13:9), we will always lean toward our true light of Jesus and He will always be there with arms open to help you back to your true East focus(Matthew 28:19-20).

I Will NOT Be Offended

A journey of the mind, fighting the enemy at every daily turn.

I set out on this journey after the enemy blatantly attacked me at work one day because he knew what he could do would get my goat.
My whole life has been set on a fear to not hurt anyone, to not upset them, be nice, always be good and don’t mess up. Don’t really know where this was based on or embedded in my psyche but it has been a root to evil. So I live each day in fear of messing up, upsetting people and worry that I’ll hurt someone, even if not intentional I fear it. The devil knows this well and he has used it, and used it, and used it against me. He keeps using it and this blog is my hope to end this rain of terror that he controls me with.

This journey was suggested to me by a co-worker, we had talked briefly in the past about a book we had read by Joyce Meyer “Battlefield of the Mind”. My co-worker told me of her journey of trying to change her mind set, being from harsher areas of this country where common courtesy isn’t common and being a baby Christian she new she needed to do something so that when the enemy used rude and inconsiderate people to cross her path, she would know what to do to deal with them. She has in my own opinion come a long away in a good way since I first met her. I have know her before and after Christ and he has done wonders. She told me what she did to get over the attacks so the devil didn’t win the war of my mind and so I’m going to try it and I thought I would include the world on my journey in hopes that my hurts could help others and the devil would not win with his latest attack. Foiled again by the grace of God.

The task is finding the specific chapter that Mrs. Meyer talks about the certain attack that the devil pulled on you that day, and devote yourself to that chapter for as long as it takes for the enemy to be driven from our mind about that issue.  Reading and rereading, following the bible references and back again.  I gave my copy of battlefield to my mom thinking she needed it more than me, but my backup plan involves Mrs. Meyers second book on the matter ” Power Thoughts,” which is set up the same and holds the very issues that i need help with.  “Power Thoughts” will work quite nicely for this mission, just keeping up with it and not falling off the task at hand will be my only problem.

The following entries are my thoughts and findings in the Word and from Joyce Meyers book “Power thoughts”. As I read I will enter what goes through my heart and hope it reaches yours:

1st time thru:

  • Pray for and forgive those led by Satan to offend you for they do not know any better. They have closed themselves off to any love and aloud anger and rudeness to control which are the devils playthings
  • Must learn to heart: I am difficult to offend. I freely and quickly forgive.
  • My fear stands on offending and hurting others, so that opens the door wide for the devil to make someone offend me in the ways I don’t want to offend them when I haven’t.
  • Constantly wanting to make people happy leaves me wide open for the ones that you can’t make happy, then Satan turns it back on me as a lie that it was my fault they got upset.
  • Transform do not conform. Don’t fall into the traps of this world for we in Christ are not of this world we are only in it, be as the Lord transforming with love not conforming to the hate.

John 8:23

  • Revenge is mine says the Lord. Do not fall into the old law of ” an eye for an eye”.  Jesus revoked that law when he brought pure non judging love to earth and taught us to forgive our enemies and love them no matter what. We as humans don’t agree with a lot of the punishments of criminals these days, depending on what they did.  We feel that some of them did not pay enough, falling back to the only law that people want to remember when it’s convenient. Yes a person who hurts or kills a child should be punished severely, but it’s not our job to do so, God has a special place for those who are truly evil. Our job is only to detain them and be patient till the Father takes care of them in his time and ways, not ours.
  • Forgive your enemy it pisses the devil off.

Matthew 18:21-22

Mark 11:22-26

  • If you want forgiveness you must forgive
  • Sew and reap, kindness reaps kindness and makes the devil very angry. Forgive him too.

Galatians 6:6-9

Matthew 6:14-15

  • The devil has his kryptonite and it’s love, where there is love the devil can not resided there.

Galatians 5:22-25

Psalm 119:165

  • Go out into this world with a wise eye, desperate times call for desperate measures, be quick to forgive not quick to anger. People now a days don’t get the spiritual guidance they need to build them up to Christ like and treat their fellow man with any descent respect. Unfortunately it’s only going to get worse if something doesn’t change, our young people don’t hardly have any respect for themselves much less any respect for others.

Mark 11:22-26

  • Keeping in mind that too big of a percentage of this world neglect their knowing better or don’t know any better because us as Christians have not done our jobs of rearing them properly and training them to fight against the evils that run rampant around us. The “Christian” people as a whole has failed our fellow man, holding back and pinning them down in judgement and ridicule, rules and regulations, everything opposite of what our Lord came to teach us.
  • I have a mental image that I wish I could get as a permanent one to link to my feelings, is the image of what the Romans did to Christ on calvery, there is nothing anyone can do to me that matches that and if he can bare that punishment from us then we can forgive, pray for and disregard a duffuss that wants to get in your face cause he’s been stuck with his kids all day on spring break and he can’t handle it.

My Financial Peace Adventure

Testimony of a debtors realization of the truth.

With the new year at hand, it’s always on the mind of most to start again, lose weight, try harder, do better, rearrange and organize. These ideas have been marketed to the extent that the only time people are taught to work on these things is only at the beginning of the year, I say if you can’t change something any other time of the year what makes January so special.  By happenstance at the end of one year recently the best thing to happen to myself and my husband was the discovery of the greatest, most ignored idea ever.  Budgeting, getting out of debt and giving all we want to others.  The idea, not so much revolutionary but re-birthed as something made simple with only some self adjusting and discipline.  Not too much discipline for myself, because I have not a drop of self discipline, but more for some.  However, the plan works and adjusts to anyone willing to give it a try.

In December 2008, my better half came home after meeting with a friend. This friend was reading a book by Dave Ramsey. My husband was very intrigued by what his friend said this book was about, we purchased it shortly after and read it for our self.  The Total Money Make Over, seemed simple enough, but as we read, we read ourselves in the book, “been there, done that” was our thoughts as we read. As we read we figured out that we were almost already there.   We were just in need of getting out of debt and reconfigure our spending habits.  When we looked at where our money needed to go and found out how much we put it where it didn’t need to be, we were astounded.  We had been from backgrounds that we had learned our lessons about debts and not having money, so when we found each other we were more careful about our spending and debt, yet we were still not being as responsible for our money as we really should.

The plan told us to take a baby step and put $1000 in the bank where we couldn’t touch it, no problem we thought, we got that.  Then, the plan told us to dump all money we had saved for three years into our debt. “what!” We had worked hard to keep that money in savings without spending it.  However, trusting in the Lord that he sent us this plan to get ahead, I agreed and with all our savings we got rid 3 or 4 debts.  WOW! that felt good, scary but good.  I even knew that God was blessing this move when I went to close out a C.D. 2 years early and the bank didn’t charge me a penalty because I was paying off a loan against it at the same time.  The whole way so far God has blessed this plan and everything has gone smooth.

It’s been one year and a month and we have barreled through our baby step 2, the debt snowball, with ease.  God has totally blessed this plan without having to adjust and change our lifestyle much at all.  Still being able to give, but not as much as I’d like, yet enough to be available for the occasional giving as needed.

We, starting out around $70,000 in debt from past bad choices and current choices, we settled old debts, and with our savings got us down to around $23,000 in one year.  In two and a half months we will have another debt paid and hopefully by the end of this year(2010) being totally free, as long as God continues to bless us and we keep doing the right thing.  I can’t wait, cause I have a slew of giving I’d like to get to.

With this adventure continuing, we have had an amazing time since because we have been put in charge of leading this plan in a class through our church and have had great success.  Seemingly, this has been a mission placed on us from the Father as well, I can’t wait to see how the next one ends.

The Year Was 2012

A story of the ridiculousness of the human mind and the vulnerability to Satan’s lies.

The date was December 20, 2012, panic and fear ensued. The Devil was getting his way with the hearts and minds of God’s people.  Roads were packed with cars driven by people trying to flee something they couldn’t see. Irrational thoughts seized them into thinking that someplace else was safer than where they were. God’s people had stopped listening to Him. They piled into stores depleting every shelve of survival needs, but no one knew what they were going to be surviving.  What could all this mean, what were they surviving and what were they running from?

In 2009 someone who obviously didn’t believe in the Father and our Savior Jesus Christ, followed some historical study and came up with the idea that the world was going to end based on Mayan and Aztec calendars. These calendars were created thousands of years ago by civilizations wiped out and spread thin by Spanish Conquistadors.  These calendars were only used to account for agriculture and ritual days. They weren’t that good for any other use and this type was eliminated when more modern and useful calendars were created after the Mayans and Aztecs dissipated in time.

The Aztec calendar was based on “gods” and “demons”. They believed they needed a calendar so they knew when the gods needed to be kept happy, so that the “demons” did not come in and cause them harm.  Also, this calendar wasn’t based on specific years, it only followed a certain number of days then reset.  There were also three different ones to go by whether you were tracking a 20 day cycle for the sacrificial altars, 365 day cycle for the solar patterns and agriculture, or the 260 day cycle that divides the days and rituals between the “gods”.

There was not any definitive year structure attached to the Aztec calendar system. The Aztecs believed that their life cycle was only 52 years and this was based on the time frame in which the 365 day calendar and the 260 day calendar reset at the same time. At that time they would hold a  fire ritual so to appease the gods who they thought could come and destroy everything and the world would end.  So it appears that every 52 years the people who followed the Aztec calendar would freak out, have fire festivals and in the past sacrifice a man by ripping out his heart.

The Mayan calendar date on which some people think the world will end is only a specific time in which an extremely close conjunction of the Winter Solstice Sun with the crossing point of the Galactic Equator (Equator of the Milky Way) and the Ecliptic (path of the Sun), what that ancient Maya recognized as the Sacred Tree. Civilizations with  religions that believed in more than one god and sacrificed our God’s children to “appease their gods,” should not be an example to follow when it comes to determining something which is totally indeterminable.

Two years have past with rumors and misunderstood science and history. Uneducated people have  listened to the false profits and prophecies that Satan passes over this world in hopes to trick God’s people into believing what isn’t true and to draw us away from trusting our Father.  Why are they not listening to the Father anymore?  What has happened to His people that they have lost all faith in our Savior Jesus?  The end of the world or Armageddon, which  is spoken about in the Bible is the biggest mystery from God Himself. Not even Jesus with all the power and knowing of our Father knew the day of His return. He said Himself that His Father chose that time. Matthew 24:36 . Jesus could only describe what would happen when the time came, but could not or would not give a specific time that these things would happen. Matthew 24:7.

Unfortunately the vagueness of these descriptions in the Bible has lead to many people trying to interpret what they thought Jesus and John were “trying to say.”  Many others follow instead of being free to learn for themselves, so they take all these “opinions” as “gospel” and too literally.  Such examples of this sadness that the devil has caused with God’s people is apparent with history in such stories as..

  • Joseph Smith: In the 1830’s, he created the Mormon religion based on his wild imagination and self interpretations that he created from the Bible to meet his own spiritual needs and caused a whole church to be created of followers too afraid to believe for themselves what the Father has written for us to believe. They are “brain washed” by their culture into believing what they are told to believe. To this day churches of people who mean well are still following the teachings of someone living in a fantasy world instead of the one true teacher Jesus Christ.
  • Charles Taze Russell & Joseph Franklin Rutherford: These two men founded the Watch Tower & Tract Society in the late 1800’s & early 1900’s.  Russell started this by taking what he read in the Holy Bible and changed it up for his own purposes because he thought that it had been translated wrong.  He wrote many publications and books that described what he thought the Bible “should have said” and then when he died Rutherford took it even farther, founding what we see today as the Jehovah’s Witnesses. It shows that something hokey was up with this group idea when Rutherford took it over and a lot of the members left.  Now a days the members of this group are ruled over and regulated by counsels and not by the Word of Christ. They teaching their members from their own version of the word and not allowing them to read the True Word and use their own free will to believe and have faith in God and Christ for themselves.
  • Jim Jones: In the 50’s & 60’s, created a whole culture of people, building the “Peoples Temple” which was based on his lunatic ideas of socialism & communism, and using bits & pieces of the Gospel according his interpretation to draw his followers in.  In the end he killed all of them in the largest non-natural disaster in the world, with a mass suicide of over 900 people.
  • David Koresh: In the 80’s & 90’s, he created his own church because he claimed himself to be God’s only prophet and followed and old lady who lead his church to believe he could father a “Chosen One”, he (in my own words) became a beast and slept with every woman and child he could to accomplish this goal. When he prophesied his world to end, he took out 20 adults and 5 children with the brain washings that he had placed on them to follow his ideals of what God and their world was about and they shot the children and then themselves.

Point in turn: all God’s people have to start thinking for themselves and stop looking to others for the answers to life and what God has in store for us.  These men, along with countless others created aberrant doctrines  who “lead” or gave root to God’s people into unorthodox and/or self destructive and hazardous lifestyles which only harm and do no one any good, much less do God’s will.

Had the people who thought they needed these false prophets to answer their questions and to make them feel better about their lives had turned to the Savior Jesus and our Father for their faith and answers the number of countless lives lost would not have been.  Since the beginning people have turned to the comforts of the devil or their own self esteem and image when life got too hard and was less than perfect instead of forgiving the hurtful ones and themselves because the temporary “feel goods” that the devil can give make us think we are better and hides the truths.

Satan marks himself in every aspect of our lives, especially in all forms of media (tabloids, news, movies, books, etc.) and anything else that can implant ideas of sin. In our finances, possessions, and relationships, the devil can make his mark on us to turn against God, he will.  All things in this world are not evil, they can only be used for evil.  Media venues can be used for good when relating to truth and sinless values. Finances for all can be more blessed and in over-abundance when given and manged for God’s will rather than for selfish gain. Possessions can be good when our focus in life is not to try and see how much we possess but on how much we can give away to those without.  Relationships can become marked by Satan when they are formed for the wrong reasons such as betrayal, adultery, or for profit and self destruction.

The world is not going to end on December 21, 2012. Even Nostradamus doesn’t know anything, his guesses have, for hundreds of years, worked through Satan’s ways to use scare tactics against God’s people.

So “Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything; tell God your needs and don’t forget to thank Him for His answers.  If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand.” Philippians 4:6-7

Self Attitudes

Why are we so hard on ourselves? Why do we insist on letting our inside monsters and demons overpower the love we have for the Lord and the love he has for us.

Why are we so hard on ourselves? Why do we insist on letting our inside monsters and demons overpower the love we have for the Lord and the love he has for us.

Judging is something we know we shouldn’t do to others, yet we are the first to judge ourselves before anyone else has a chance. When we do, we are harder and harsher than any stranger.

The Lord does not judge us so why should we. There is only one time in our life that judgment comes into play and that is at the end of days. Even then there won’t be much to judge if we accept God’s salvation through Christ.

The Lord and his Father love us and stand beside us, waiting for us to rise up and stand beside them.

We need to stand up and step out of the ruts we put ourselves in.

All the judgments we put on ourselves usually stem from deeper emotions. Those deeper emotions stem from guilt, shame, self hatred from past hurts, experiences, trials and tribulations. We fail to come to terms with all this past stuff and it turns into self-judgmental attitudes which do us no good at all.

Someone who has been hurt by others can rise up out of this self destruction by coming to realize they did nothing to deserve what has been done to them. You should never be ashamed of someone else’s wrong actions against you if you did nothing to provoke it. To hide and be ashamed of another’s actions means they (and the devil) are winning the spiritual battle to bring you down, down, down, to a level they think you can’t get out of to reach the Father’s love. Keeping quiet about someone’s wrong doings toward you or someone else gives power to evil forces and doesn’t stop them from doing those things anymore. Never feel you are responsible for being mistreated or abused. No one ever deserves that and if you don’t put a stop to it, then things might only get worse and usually do.

Only one person in creation was abused for a reason, and he died for that reason.

Abused for us and died for us… For What?

Our Freedom!

We are free. We are free from abuse, sin, guilt, shame, and any bad emotion that the devil could try to cast upon us. We are free.

Stand up and free yourself from the evils that drag you down, because you are………….

Perfectionist attitudes lead to perfect self destruction.

If everything must be done right or just so, to be able to gain the Lord’s love and faith in him, then you might as well hang up your hat , because nothing is perfect, you’re not perfect, and you don’t have to be perfect to love or be loved by the Father.

Jesus did not expect perfection when he lived here the 1st time. Although sinless, he was human and very open to making mistakes, just as we are. Even more, he didn’t need or want everything perfect or done completely right except only having faith in him.

Whether at a party or a gathering, for example, with lots of people, he did not worry that everything was just so. He did not worry if there was enough food, good decorations, or if everything was clean, mowed, or straightened. There were some gatherings where he even took a nap.

No Worries! He’s the ultimate Aussie because he let everything come as it did and dealt with it as it came.

Negative attitudes toward ourselves are just as bad and powerful as someone else’s negative attitudes toward us. A child growing up with someone constantly telling them that there is something wrong with them, they are bad, no good, will never amount to anything, or even silence (no words good or bad are just as harmful) will eventually start to believe those things and it is then set in there own mind that it’s true and that’s the way they are.

So if a child can start believing lies from people who are close to them, then what would stop us from not believing our own lies?

Eventually, your negative thoughts and words spread to others and can bring down the whole mood or situation. It doesn’t seem to matter how much the people around you tell you otherwise, you refuse to believe how good a person you are or how well you can do what you do.

The person who doesn’t do anything because they don’t feel that they are capable of achieving it is the one who loses out on finding out just how wonderful a person God made.

You can only blame yourself if you let other people’s opinions get the better of you and control your every move in life. They don’t know you, only God and his son know you and they think that you are a wonderful and unique person who can do all things in them.

Nothing good happens in this world without God. We must all take him with us, if there is anything we want to do or it will surely fail.

Just remember – bad moods and attitudes spread like wild fires and rub off on others like a common cold and with no cure but our Lord.

No one’s perfect. Only God and his risen Son are the perfect ones. Perfection is the farthest thing from their mind for you. They only want you to know and love them. They love you as you are.

Finally, you who are abused or have been are to rise up and meet the Lord to let him fight your battles for you. You must make the first step against the spiritual warfare the devil is setting on you and remove yourself from the place he attacks. Turn back to them what they have done to you through love and faith in the Father to take care of them for you. Bring light to the ones who do wrong and the Light of Life will shine forever, wiping out all evil that surrounds the innocent.
