Phase 1:
A doll house for my niece, started from a kit but made as her own. Follow this work in progress.
First Phase

Phase 2:
Phase Two
The color was brightened by the flash of the camera, in real light it is a darker color, eggplant purple. Two coats covered nicely.
Phase 3:
Working on Kaylee’s house today, I came to the painting the small pieces of trim. These pieces are made of pressed wood, almost a paper pulp texture, so they soak up the paint and will required several coats.

Lot’s of small pieces of trim. I also came upon a trick for painting the very small pieces that could be used for anything small that needs paint without painting your fingers and messing up the paint while trying to hold it.

Take 3″ wooden floral picks and remove the wires then use wire cutters and cut them in half.

Put a very small amount of hot glue on the flattest tip of the sticks and attach to the back side of the trim pieces, any part that doesn’t need to be painted. Then Paint.
