Cowboy Chili
Categories: What's For Supper?

Named by one of my friends at church today at our pot luck.  All I was doing was cleaning out my freezer.  I got my roaster pan and added 2 quartz of water to help thaw the beans, a gallon bag of my red beans with bacon, a gallon bag of my 15 bean soup, a gallon bag of coarsely chopped smoked briskets, a can of ranch style beans for the flavor, and a little bit of chili powder not too much just enough to taste. I cooked in the roaster on 200 degrees till all thawed and blended together for about two hours, then I let cool and put in the fridge over night and took to the church, about 9:15a.m. I plugged in the roaster on 175 degrees and let cook till the pot luck began about 12:30 – 1:00p.m.eBags, Inc.

The smoked brisket added a very nice flavor to everything. I liked this one very much. Cowboy Chili is an apt name, too.
