This recipe is called versatile because of the various flavors that can be injected into the recipe. The following recipe is how I made it the first time, after I will give flavor options with slightly different ingredients.
Main Ingredients:
- 1 lbs. ground hamburger, cooked and drained well
- 1 bag 16 oz. frozen cut leaf spinach, thawed & drained well
- 1 can 14.5 oz. diced tomatoes, drained well
- 1 can 6.5 oz. mushroom stems & pieces, drained well
Exchangeable Ingredients:
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1tsp paprika
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
Brown the meat and drain well, draining all of the first ingredients is needed or this can get watery or soupy.
Once meat is well cooked, in same pan/skillet, add all ingredients listed above. It’s that easy. Cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes, mainly just to get everything warmed up. After about ten minutes you can serve or turn heat down to simmer till ready to serve.
makes 3-4 servings, depending on how hungry or size of portions you eat.
