Turning a rented Blah! space into a temporarily Your space. This trick will jazz up an ordinary just like everyone else kitchen into a unique one of a kind.
In the fancy can’t afford kitchens with decorative inlays on cabinet doors, this idea can give the effect that is just as wonderful.
Supplies needed:
- cardboard
- fabric material
- hot glue
- poster tack (removable putty that holds posters and pictures to walls)
Cut your cardboard to fit the center of the door, leaving 2- 3 inches from the edge.
Cut your fabric 2-3 inches larger than the piece of cardboard.
Place the fabric face down and the cardboard centered on back of fabric, glue around edges with hot glue while folding fabric over the edge. Start with opposite sides, do one side then the other to be able to stretch the fabric so to be smooth in front.
Place the poster tack in small balls on all corners and if large enough, in center sides. Most of the ones in the pictures below have minimum of six pieces, all corners then on the right and left side in center, and some have in very center.
